Full day: $175
Weekend: $225
Is a deposit required? Yes. Alcohol event: $250 booking/cleaning deposit
Non-alcohol event $100

If so, is there an additional cost? $550 for event. Includes 2 bartenders and security. (9:00 p.m. - 1:00 a.m., additional cost after)

What is the capacity of the centre? 150 for event with alcohol permitted
120 normal capacity.
When are regular board meetings? The first Monday of each month 7pm at the centre.

General Information

Because the objective of the Park Community Centre is to serve members of the community, preferred rates (~25% off) will be given to those residents in the area between Pacific Avenue and Park Avenue (North - South) and 10th Street and 18th Street (East - West).

 Notes:

  • Alcohol Socials - The Park Community Centre hall's capacity is 143 people. Applicable liquor serving documentation/licenses must be gathered from the Manitoba Liquor Control Commission beforehand. Security/bartenders must be hired from the Park Community Centre by the renter at the renter's expense if not already hired. All socials must be subject to a $150 damage deposit ($100 regular damage deposit plus kitchen cleaning deposit of $50) that will be returned in full if there is no damage and the hall is cleaned.
  • Kitchen use - All Park Community Centre events involving use of the kitchen must be subject to a $50 kitchen (including regular damage deposit) cleaning deposit that will be returned in full if there is no damage and the hall is cleaned.
  • All other Park Community Centre events require a $100 damage deposit.
  • Payment - Payment should be made when the key is picked up, unless an established organized group requests an invoice which Park Community Centre board will have made up for the renter.
