Our Babysitting course has been educating the babysitters in Brandon for over 20 years. Our program is offered twice a year in the spring and fall.
Class dates are dependent on enrollment and availability of the instructors.
The course runs for three weeks with two classes a week (either Tuesdays and Thursdays or Mondays and Wednesdays). Class times are in the evenings from 6:45 to 8:30 and take place in the Training Room at the #1 Fire Hall, 120 – 19th Street North. The last class of each course is a graduation ceremony for all successful students.
Each week the students are introduced to new related information including:
- Fire Prevention/Fire Safety
- 911 Information
- Basic First Aid
- Child Behaviour/Play Activities
- Basic Child Care
Requirements:

- must have an interest in babysitting
