Contaminated Soil Disposal
The Eastview Landfill has a location to properly dispose of contaminated soil.
An analytical report of the soil in question must be submitted to solidwaste@brandon.ca prior to requesting a permit. It will be determined at that time if the impacted soil can be brought to the Eastview Landfill. An email will be sent advising the acceptance of the contaminated soil, at which point a permit may be taken out by calling the Solid Waste Section.
Permit requirements: As a contractor, a permit must be taken out at least 48 hours prior to the disposal of contaminated soil. This permit is valid for 1 day (Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.), and if not used on the day requested charges may occur.
