Media Release for June 7th, 2020
A 20-year-old Female has been charged with two counts of Possess a Controlled Substance, Possess a weapon Dangerous, Carry a Concealed Weapon and Breach of an Undertaking. The accused was involved in a disturbance in the 2300 block of Brandon Avenue and had fled the area in a Taxi. She was located nearby in the Taxi and upon arrest; she was found to have a quantity of drugs, alcohol and a concealed knife. She has been remanded in to custody.
Overnight Friday a break and Enter occurred in the 3000 block of Victoria Avenue East. A safe was damaged within the premises and an unknown amount of cash was stolen. This incident is still under investigation.
A 27-year-old Female has been charged with Domestic Assault. Police received a report of a Domestic Assault occurring where the Accused stabbed her partner with a pair of pliers. The victim was treated for injuries consistent with the reported incident. The Accused will be attending court September 21st.
