Warrant
On the morning of 2023-09-21, police conducted a pedestrian stop with an individual in the 200 block of 8th Street. A check of police records revealed an outstanding warrant of arrest. A 48-year-old male was released with conditions to appear in court 2023-11-30.
On the morning of 2023-09-21, police conducted a pedestrian stop with an individual in the 800 block of Rosser Avenue. A check of police records revealed an outstanding warrant of arrest. A 29-year-old male was lodged at BPS to appear for court 2023-09-22.
On the evening of 2023-09-21, police conducted a pedestrian stop with an individual in the 400 block of 9th Street. A check of police records revealed an outstanding warrant of arrest. A search incident to arrest resulted in locating a set of brass knuckles which are classified as a prohibited weapon. A 35-year-old male was released with conditions to appear in court 2023-11-30 for the charges of Theft Under $5000, Carry Concealed Weapon, and Possession of Prohibited Weapon.
Breach of Peace
On the evening of 2023-09-21, police responded to the 100 block of Mctavish Avenue E after receiving a report of an intoxicated male that was causing a disturbance. A 47-year-old male was lodged at BPS until sober.
Mischief Under $5000
On the evening of 2023-09-21, police responded to the area of the Corral Centre after receiving reports of 3 youths that were spray painting the back of a business. Police located the suspects nearby. All 3 of the youth are 12-13 years of age and were released to their guardians with conditions to appear in court 2023-12-03 for the charge of Mischief to Property Under $5000.
On the evening of 2023-09-21, police conducted a pedestrian stop with an individual in the 500 block of Lorne Avenue. A check of police records revealed an outstanding warrant of arrest. The 34-year-old was lodged at BPS to appear for court 2023-09-22.
On 2023-09-22, police attended to an address in the 200 block of 1st Street to conduct a check for an individual with an outstanding warrant of arrest. A 49-year-old male was lodged at BPS to appear for court 2023-09-22.
O 2023-09-22, police attended to an establishment in the 2100 block of Currie Boulevard as staff reported that a male was found to be sleeping in the washroom and was aggressive when asked to leave by staff. A 42-year-old male was lodged at BPS until morning.
Resist Arrest/FTC Release Order
On 2023-09-22, police conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle in the 4500 block of Victoria Avenue wherby the driver fled on foot. The officer conducting the traffic stop oblidged in the foot chase and the suspect was taken into custody. A check of police records revealed that the individual is bound by a curfew condition, which he was breaching. A 34-year-old male was lodged at BPS to appear for court 2023-09-22 for the charges of FTC Release Order and Resist Arrest.
