Warrant

On the afternoon of 2023-09-20, police conducted a pedestrian stop with an individual in the 300 block of 11th Street.  A check of police records showed an outstanding warrant of arrest.  A 30-year-old male was lodged at BPS to appear for court 2023-09-21.

Warrant

On the afternoon of 2023-09-20, police conducted a pedestrian stop with an individual in the 800 block of Pacific Avenue.  A check of police records revealed an outstanding warrant of arrest.  A 39-year-old male was released with conditions to appear in court 2023-11-09.

Theft Under $5000/Possession Breaking Instruments

On the afternoon of 2023-09-20, police were notified by BSD staff that a male had attempted to steal a student’s bike from a school on Silverbirch Drive.  The individual's attempt was thwarted when the school Principal verbally confronted the suspect, resulting in him fleeing on foot and leaving behind a pair of bolt cutters.  Police located and arrested the suspect nearby and a check of police records revealed an outstanding warrant of arrest.  In addition, police investigation revealed that the same male had stolen bicycles from the same school on two separate dates.  A 37-year-old male was lodged at BPS to appear for court 2023-09-21 for the charges of FTC Release Order, Attempted Theft, Theft Under $5000 X2 and Possession Breaking Instruments X3.

On the evening of 2023-09-20, police conducted a pedestrian stop with an individual in the 0 hundred block of 10th Street.  A check of police records revealed an outstanding warrant of arrest.  A 33-year-old female was released with conditions to appear in court 2023-10-19.

Warrant

On the evening of 2023-09-20, police conducted a pedestrian stop with an individual in the 300 hundred block of Princess Ave E.  A check of police records revealed an outstanding warrant of arrest.  A 30-year-old male was released with conditions to appear in court 2023-10-19.

Breach of Peace

On the evening of 2023-09-20, police attended to the area of Magnolia Drive after receiving a report of an intoxicated female that was causing a disturbance to residents in the area.  A 16-year-old female was located and lodged at BPS, and will be released to a responsible guardian once sober.

Impaired Driving/MVA

On 2023-09-21 at 00:22 hrs, police received a report of a vehicle that crashed through a fence in the 700 block of 8th Street and subsequently struck a house.  The occupants of the vehicle fled prior to arrival, however police were assisted by a witness that directed officers to a nearby residence.  The operator of the vehicle was identified and brought back to BPS where she provided breath samples that were in excess of 2.5 times the legal limit.  A 35-year-old female was lodged at BPS and will be released once sober with conditions to appear in court 2023-09-28 for the charges of Failure to Remain at the Scene of an Accident, Impaired Driving, and Drive Over .08
