Warrant/FTC Release Order

On the morning of 2023-11-29, police responded to a disturbance at a residence in the 700 block of Braecrest Drive.  A check of police records for a 35-year-old male revealed him to have an outstanding warrant.  In addition, he was he was determined to be failing to comply with a condition of his release order by communicating with a female that was present.  The accused was lodged at BPS to appear in court 2023-11-30.

Warrant

On the afternoon of 2023-11-29, police conducted a warrant check on Westaway Bay for a 22-year-old male.  The accused was subsequently released from police custody with conditions to appear in court 2023-12-27.

Breach of Peace

On the afternoon of 2023-11-29, police attended to the 300 block of 3rd Street after receiving a report of an intoxicated male that was causing a disturbance at a community event.  To prevent a continuation of public disruptions, a 56-year-old male was lodged at BPS until sober.

Breach of Peace

On the afternoon of 2023-11-29, police attended to the 900 block of Rosser Avenue, after receiving a report that an intoxicated individual was causing a disturbance.  To prevent a continuation of public disruptions, a 25-year-old male was lodged at BPS until sober.

Possession of Property Obtained by Crime

On the evening of 2023-11-29, police conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of Louise Avenue.  A check of police records revealed that vehicle was previously reported stolen on 2023-11-28.  A 29-year-old operator and lone occupant was taken into custody without incident.  The male has been released from police custody with conditions to appear in court 2024-01-18, for a charge of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.

Warrant

On the evening of 2023-11-29, police attended to a call for service at a residence in the 500 block of 3rd Street.  A check of police records for one of the individuals involved revealed an outstanding warrant.  A 25-year-old male was released with conditions to appear in court 2023-12-28.

Breach of Peace

On 2023-11-30, police attended to a building in the 200 block of 9Th Street after receiving a report of an intoxicated individual that was refusing to leave when requested.  To prevent a continuation of public disruptions, a 32-year-old female was lodged at BPS until sober.

Public Mischief/FTC Release Order

On 2023-11-30, police attended to a backyard of a residence in the 1000 block of 4th Street for a report of asuspicious individual.  The male was determined to be intoxicated by drugs and provided police with a false name.  A check of police records for the true identity of the accused revealed that he is bound by a release order whereby he was violating his curfew condition.  The 27-year-old male has been lodged at BPS to appear for court 2023-11-30, for the charges of Public Mischief and Failure to Comply with Release Order.

On 2023-11-30, police attended to a residence in the 2200 block of Rosser Avenue, after receiving a report that an intoxicated individual was causing a disturbance.  To prevent a continuation of public disruptions, a 27-year-old male was lodged at BPS until sober.
