Warrant/Resist Arrest/FTC Release Order

On the evening of 2023-11-09, police attended to a residence in the 700 block of 14^th Street to conduct a check for an individual with outstanding warrants.  The 29-year-old male proceeded to flee from officers on foot and was later taken into custody.  The accused is currently bound by a court ordered condition to abide by a daily curfew, and by leaving his residence, was in breach of his curfew while resisting his arrest.  The accused will appear in court 2023-11-10 for his warrants, as well as new charges of Failure to Comply with Release Order and Resist Arrest.

Robbery

On the evening of 2023-11-09, police attended to a business in the 1600 block of 18^th Street after staff reported 3 teenage females that were fighting with staff while being confronted for stealing canisters of spray paint.  The spray paint was recovered by staff with no injuries sustained or weapons involved.  Police located two of the suspects in the area, whereby they were arrested and released to guardians with conditions to appear in court 2024-01-16, for the charge of Robbery.  The third suspect has been identified and a warrant has been requested for this individual.

Breach of Peace

On 2023-11-10, police received several reports of an intoxicated male that was causing a disturbance at a residence in the 2500 block of Macdonald Avenue.  A 38-year-old male was lodged a BPS until sober.
