Theft Under $5000.00 X2/Mischief Under $5000.00/Cause Disturbance/Resist Arrest:

On May 13, 2022, at approximately 6:18 pm, police were dispatched to a attend several businesses located in the 900 block of 18th Street North regarding a male stealing tip jars and causing a disturbance.  Police located a 28 year old male responsible for the theft of 2 tip jars and a broken window.  The male resisted arrest, however was taken into custody and held at the Brandon Police Service to appear before a Justice regarding the charges.

Fail to Comply Release Order:

On May 13, 2022, at 9:34 pm, police conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of 18th Street.  A 28 year old male occupant within the vehicle was found to be breaching a Release Order Condition - daily curfew 9pm – 7am.  The male was arrested and lodged at the Brandon Police Service to appear before a Justice regarding the matter.

Arrest Warrant:

On May 13, 2022, at 11:49 pm, police located a 33 year old male at a residence on Wankling Blvd.  The male was arrested on the strength of an outstanding Warrant of Arrest for Failing to Comply with his Probation Order.  The male conveyed and was held at the Brandon Police Service to appear before a Justice regarding the matter.

Breach of Peace:

On May 14, 2022, at 12:02 am, police were called to a hotel in the 3500 block of Victoria Avenue regarding a 21 year old person causing a disturbance.  The person was arrested for Breaching the Peace, detained at the Brandon Police Service and later released after a “cool down period.”

Fail to Comply with Police Direction to Leave a Licensed Premises:

On May 14, 2022, at 01:14 am, police were called to attend a business located in the 1100 block of 18th Street regarding several persons fighting.  Police encountered a 23 year old male from the town of Souris Manitoba who was causing a problem near the licensed premises.  The male was asked numerous times and given several opportunities to leave the property.  The male was eventually arrested under the Liquor, Gaming and Cannabis Act.  The male was detained at the Brandon Police Station where he was later released and issued a Provincial Offence Notice (Ticket) valued at $672.00.
