Assault and Mischief

 

On March 11th at 10:15 am Security from a business in the 800 block of Rosser Avenue called to report a male, that was banned from the business yelling at security staff. A 38-year-old male was arrested as he had assaulted a security officer by bending their thumb back. When lodged in cells he also damaged a security camera at Brandon Police Service. The accused was later released for court on April 29th, 2024.

 

Impaired Driving

On March 11th at 2:14 pm Police conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of Van Horne Avenue. The 27-year-old male driver was arrested for impaired driving. He was also found to have an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court. He provided breath samples just over the legal limit. He was later released for court on March 21st, 2024. A 22-year-old female passenger in the vehicle was also arrested as she provided a false name and was found to be on a court order not to consume alcohol. She was after released for court on May 23rd, 2024.

 

Arrest Warrants

On March 12th at 02:12 am Police attended to a residence in the 800 block of Frederick Street as they were aware the resident had an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court. A 33-year-old female was arrested and released for court on April 22nd, 2024.

 

On March 12th at 01:15 am Police conducted a traffic stop in the 600 block of 14th street. A 38-year-old male was arrested as he had an outstanding warrant for possession of property obtained by crime. He was released for court on April 25th, 2024.
