Break and Enter to Business

On June 25, 2020, police responded to a report of a Break and Enter to an office space in the 3000 block of Victoria Ave E. The incident is believed to have occurred between 8:00 pm the previous evening and 5:30 am on June 25. Stolen was money from a vending machine. Anyone with information regarding this offence is encouraged to contact Brandon Police Service.

 

Break and Enter to Business

On June 25, 2020, police responded to a break and enter to an external building of a business in the 600 block of Percy Street. The incident is believed to have occurred between 8:30 pm on June 24 and noon on June 25. Suspects attempted to gain entry to a beer cooler without success. Anyone with information regarding this offence is encouraged to contact Brandon Police Service.

 

Arrest Warrant

On June 25, 2020, police arrested a 23-year-old female on outstanding charges of Assault Causing Bodily Harm. The charges are in relation to an incident, which occurred on April 28, 2019 in which the suspect allegedly pushed the victim outside of a drinking establishment, causing the victim to strike their face on the ground and chip a tooth. The suspect will appear in court on a later date on a charge of Assault Causing Bodily Harm.

 

Theft of Tools

On June 25, 2020, police responded to a report of theft from a utility trailer. The trailer was locked and parked in the 300 block of Rosser Ave. Stolen from the trailer was a variety of power tools including:

Bostich Roofing nailer

Ryobi undercut saw

Mikita drywall screwgun

Milwaukie drywall screwgun

Dewalt sawzall

Ryobi jigsaw

Porter cable brad nailer

Mikita brad nailer

Mastercraft tool set

Mikita impact cordless drill set

Fail to Comply with Undertaking

On June 25, 2020, police responded to a report of an intoxicated individual who was stumbling into traffic at approximately 3:30 pm near the 1300 block of Richmond Ave. The male suspect was to abide by conditions not to consume alcohol. As the 32-year-old male was not able to care for himself, he was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service to be released when sober. He will appear in court on a later date on a charge of Fail to Comply with Undertaking.

 

IPDA

On June 25, at approximately 3:40 pm, police located a second male stumbling into traffic near the 1700 block of Rosser Ave. The male was unable to care for himself and was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

 

Fail to Appear

On June 25, 2020 shortly after 4:00 pm, police responded to a report of an individual who was becoming aggressive with employees at a business in the 1100 block of 18th street. Police learned that the 29-year-old male suspect was wanted on outstanding charges. He was arrested and will appear in court on a later date for Fail to Appear for Ident.

 

Arrest Warrant

On June 25, 2020, police responded to a report of a disturbance at a business in the 000 block of 19th street. A suspect allegedly sprayed a second individual with bear mace before fleeing. The individual who was sprayed proceeded to cause damage to the business. The 45-year-old suspect was found to be wanted on an outstanding charge of Break Enter and Theft, And Fail to Attend Court. He was arrested and will appear in court on a later date. He would not provide a statement to police regarding the suspect who sprayed him with mace.

 

Arrest Warrant

On June 25, 2020, shortly after 7:00 pm, police responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence. The disturbance had subsided by the time police arrived; however, a female at the residence was found to be wanted on outstanding charges. She was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today on charges of Assault and Fail to Comply with Probation.

 

Breach of Peace

On June 26, 2020, police responded to a disturbance at a residence. The suspect was not welcome in the residence by the homeowner. He had caused damage to the residence; however, the homeowner did not wish to proceed with charges. The 42-year-old male suspect was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober to prevent the continuation of the disturbance.
