Break & Enters

On January 6, 2021 at approx. 10:55 am police received a report of a break and enter into a detached garage on McDiarmid Dr. sometime between Dec 26 and today.  Stolen was a leaf blower and a charger with batteries. There are no suspects at this time.

On January 6, 2021 at approx. 10:55 am police received a report of a break and enter into a detached garage on Clarke Dr. sometime overnight.  Stolen was a bicycle. There are no suspects at this time.

Breach of Release Order

On January 6, 2021 at approx. 2:17 pm police observed a subject driving a vehicle who they knew was currently bound by conditions that included he not drive a vehicle.  The vehicle was stopped and the subject, a 50 year old male from Brandon was arrested.  Upon arrest it was determined that he was breaching other conditions of his release order.  He will appear in court this morning on 5 counts of Fail to Comply with Release Order.   

Prohibited Driver

On January 6, 2021 at approx. 3:20 pm police received a report of a subject driving a vehicle while prohibited.  Police located the subject, a 33 year old male from Brandon, in the 700 blk of Douglas St.  He was found to be the subject of a warrant for as well as a prohibited driver.  He was arrested and later released on an appearance notice to attend court on April 1, 2021 on charges of Fail to Comply with Undertaking and Prohibited Driving.

Recovered Stolen Vehicle

On January 6, 2021 at approx. 3:55 pm police located a vehicle in the 100 block of McDiarmid Dr.  which had been reported stolen in Killarney MB. The vehicle was parked and unoccupied. There are no suspects at this time.

Domestic Assault

On January 6, 2021 at about 8:49 pm police received a report of a disturbance on Willowdale Cres. Investigation revealed a 47 year old male had assaulted his girlfriend by head-butting her in the face during an argument. The subject was intoxicated and was lodged.  He will be released when sober to attend court on March 1, 2021 on a charge of assault.

Other arrests

A 24 year old male arrested on an outstanding warrant for fail to attend for prints.

A 30 year old female arrested for Breach of Peace.
