Arrest Warrants
On January 30th, 2024, Police attended to the Brandon Correctional Center to arrest a male who had an outstanding warrant for failing to comply with his probation. A 36-year-old male was arrested and will appear in court on January 31st, 2024.
On January 30th, 2024, Police attended to the Brandon Correctional Center to arrest a male who had an outstanding warrant for uttering threats and mischief. A 36-year-old male was arrested and will appear in court on January 31st, 2024.
On January 30th, 2024, Police attended to a residence on Cornell Bay as they were aware the resident had an outstanding warrant for failing to attend for fingerprints. A 23-year-old female was arrested and released for court on March 4th, 2024.
Mischief
On January 30th police arrested a 38-year-old male for Mischief Under $5000. On January 21st, 2024 he broke a window at a residence in the 700 block of 14th street. He was arrested and released for court on April 8th, 2024.
Robbery
On January 30th at 9:45 pm police were called to a residence in the 200 block of 15th street. A 49-year-old male had answered his door for two individuals. He was struck in the head with an edged weapon, and they entered his residence and stole various electronic items. The victim was taken to hospital with a non-life-threatening head injury and later released. The victim may have been familiar with one of the suspects. The major crimes section is continuing the investigation.
