Possession of a Weapon:
On January 20, 2024, at 6:51pm, police responded to a report of a female armed with a knife near the City Centre Hotel. Police located and arrested an intoxicated 18 year old female who had been in an altercation with a male. The female was found to have a knife on her person. The female was lodged at the Police Station and later released with a future court date.
Breach of Probation:
On January 20, 2024, at 7:17pm, police were dispatched to a residence in the 700 block of Franklin Street regarding an unwanted person. Police located and arrested a 41 year old male who was found to be breaching a condition of his probation by being at the residence. The male was removed from the residence and later released with a future court date.
Possession of a Stolen Vehicle / Possession of Methamphetamine:
On January 21, 2024, at 12:23am, police conducted a traffic stop in the 000 block of 5th Street. The vehicle was found to have been reported stolen from the Steinbach MB. A male and female occupant in the vehicle were subsequently arrested. Police conducted a search of the vehicle and located a small quantity of methamphetamine. A 34 year old male and a 29 year old female were later released with future court dates.
Assault with a Weapon:
On January 21, 2024, at 12:20am, police responded to a disturbance at a residence in the 000 block of 10th Street. Police located and arrested a 48 year old male who had assaulted a female. The female reported that the male had thrown a computer and a canned drink at her. The male was lodged at the Police Station and was later released with a future court date.
Breach of Peace:
On January 21, 2024, at 1:30am, police responded to a report of an intoxicated female causing problems in an apartment building located in the 200 block of 9th Street. Police located and arrested a highly intoxicated 26 year old female. The female was lodged at the Police Station and later released when sober.
On January 21, 2024, at 2:59am, police encountered a disturbance in the 900 block of Rosser Avenue. Police arrested an intoxicated 21 year old male who was believed to be the problem. The male was detained at the Police Station and later released when sober.
IPDA:
On January 21, 2024, at 04:05am, police received a call from a resident in the 600 block of 41st Street regarding a male knocking on doors. Police located and arrested an intoxicated 18 year old male who was lodged at the Police Station due to his intoxication. The male was later released when sober.
