Possession of Weapon

 At approximately 10:42 PM a traffic stop was conducted in the 300 block of 16 Street with a Taxi. During the stop two passengers were observed in the vehicle.  A large knife and a canister of Bear spray was observed on the seat between them.  A 34 year old male and a 40 year old female, both from Brandon were taken into custody for Possession of a Weapon x2 Possess Prohibited Weapon and Possess Weapon Contrary to a Prohibition Order.  Both subjects were released with conditions and will be required to appear in court on 2021-04-06.

Fail to comply Undertaking x2

 At Approximately 12:35 AM a traffic stop was conducted in the area of Alaska Bay.  Police had observed the vehicle come to a stop.  The female driver exited the vehicle and became the passenger.  A second male was then seen exiting a building and getting into the driver seat.  He proceeded to drive around the parking lot prior to stopping and changing positions with the passenger. The vehicle was then stopped and both driver and passenger were found to be under the influence of alcohol.  A 21 year old female from Brandon has been charged with Drive While Ability Impaired and Fail to Comply with Undertaking.  A 25 year male from Brandon has been charged Drive While Ability Impaired, Driving with more that 80mgs of Alcohol in Blood and Fail to Comply with Undertaking.  Both subjects have been held in custody and will appear in court this date.

Break Enter and Theft

 At approximately 7:15 AM a Break and Enter was reported to Police from a business in the 700 block of Douglas Street. Sometime over night the compound was entered and copper wire was taken from the work vehicles.  No suspects have been located at this time.  Still Under Investigation.
