Breach of Court Order/Obstruct Police
Shortly after midnight on Sunday, a woman complained that she had been sprayed with bear spray downtown. Officers attended and several males ran from the area. A 20 year old Brandon man was apprehended after a foot pursuit and arrested. He was found to be in breach of several conditions of two court orders and was also charged with Obstruction of a Police Officer. He was lodged and will appear in court on Sunday morning.
A 22 year old Brandon man was checked near a downtown hotel during the above incident. He was wanted on an arrest warrant and was lodged to be released for a court date in April.
Other Arrests
Five people were lodged for Breach of Peace or under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act.
A 29 year old Brandon woman was checked by an officer on 7th St at 12:50 am and she was in breach of a condition on a release order to abide by a curfew. She was arrested and lodged to appear in court on Sunday morning.
A 28 year old woman from Killarney was arrested at a traffic stop on Victoria Ave after it was discovered she had a warrant for her arrest issued by the Souris RCMP. She was lodged to appear in court.
