For the past 24 hours:
Possession of a Weapon/ Fail to Comply with a Release Order
At 11:25 pm, Police attended to a business in the 3500 block of Victoria Ave and dealt with a 31 year old female who was breaching her curfew condition. Upon being searched incident to arrest, she was found to have 2 cans of bear spray on her. The accused was held in custody to appear in court in the morning.
Assault by Choking
At 12:12 am, Police received a report of a male assaulting a female at an establishment in the 1100 block of 18th St. Upon attending to the scene, officers learned that the 22 year old male had gotten into an argument with a female and assaulted her by choking her. The suspect was arrested and held in custody and will be released for court at a later date.
Other arrests
Three other individuals were arrested for disturbance/alcohol related issues and were held in custody until sober and released without charges.
