Theft Under $5000

 

On January 31st, 2024, at 09:50 am Police arrested a 32-year-old male for Theft Under $5000 and Failing to Comply with his release order.  On January 29th , 2024 at 09:37 a.m. a business in the 700 block of 10th street reported a male had entered the store, grabbed an electronic scanning device off the counter and fled. The incident was caught on video surveillance and the male was arrested when he returned to the business two days later. The accused was held in custody and will appear on February 1st, 2024.

 

Arrest Warrant

On January 31st, 2024, at 12:38 p.m. Police conducted a pedestrian check in the 00 block of 7th street. A 30-year-old male was arrested as he had an outstanding warrant for Theft Under $5000. He was held for court and will appear on February 1st, 2024.

 

Robbery Arrest Made

On January 31st ,2024 police attended to a residence in the 300 block of Dennis Street and arrested a 17-year-old female for robbery. On January 30th at 9:45 pm police were called to a residence in the 200 block of 15th street. A 49-year-old male had answered his door for an unknown male and a female he knew.. He was struck in the head, and they entered his residence and stole various electronic items. The victim was taken to hospital with a non-life-threatening head injury and later released. The major crimes section is continuing the investigation.

 

Breach of Peace

On January 31st, 2024, at 9:45 pm police were called to a business in the 300 block of 18th street north for an intoxicated female causing a disturbance. A 25-year-old female was arrested and will be released in the morning.

 

Breach of Court Order

On January 31st, 2024, at 11:22 pm police conducted a pedestrian check in the 100 block of 10th street. A 36-year-old male was arrested as he had an outstanding warrant for breaching his curfew. He was held for court on February 1st ,2024.
