Arrest Warrant

On February 14th at 12:05 pm Sheriffs from the courthouse called to advise they had a 27-year-old in custody as he had an outstanding arrest warrant for assault. He was arrested by Brandon Police and will appear in court on February 15th, 2024.

 

Break In

On February 14th, a resident in the 1100 block of Princess Avenue East reported their garage has been entered overnight. Suspects stole a bicycle and numerous tools. This matter is still under investigation.

Breach of release order

On February 14th at 1:37 pm Police received a call from a resident in 100 block of Princess Avenue reporting a male in breach of his court order by communicating with her. A 42-year-old male was arrested for breach of his release order, and it was also learned he had an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court. He was held for court on February 15th, 2024.

 

Possess Weapon Dangerous

On February 14th at 4:00 pm Police were called to a disturbance outside of a business in the 00 block of 9th street. A male was reported to have a knife and fled once police were called. An 18-year-old male was located in the area and arrested. He was found to have a knife in his possession. He will appear in court on April 25th, 2024.

 

Intoxicated Person

On February 14th at 11:11 pm Police were called to a disturbance at a residence in the 200 block of 8h street. An intoxicated 23-year-old female was found to be the cause of the issues. She was arrested and will be released in the morning.
