Breach of the Peace:
On February 9, 2024, at 3:44pm, police encountered an intoxicated 39 year old female causing a disturbance in the 300 block of 9th Street. The female was arrested and lodged at the Brandon Police Service where she was later released once sober.
On February 9, 2024, at 6:05pm, police were dispatched to a business in the 1500 block of Highland Avenue regarding a male causing problems. Police located and arrested a 30 year old male. The male was lodged at the Brandon Police Service and later released.
On February 10, 2024, at 4:17am, police responded to a disturbance at a business in the 1900 block of Queens Avenue. Police located and arrested an intoxicated 23 year old female who was the problem. The female was lodged at the Brandon Police Service where she was later released once sober.
Fail to Comply with Court Order / Arrest Warrant:
On February 9, 2024, at 7:45pm, police attended a residence in the 300 block of Ross Avenue. While police were at the residence they encountered a 24 year old male who had 2 warrants for his arrest and was found to be not abiding by a condition regarding where he was to reside. The male was arrested and lodged at the Brandon Police Service where he later appeared before a Justice regarding the matter.
Armed Robbery:
On February 9, 2024, at 9:33pm, police were dispatched to a robbery that had just occurred at a business in the 2000 block of Lyndale Drive. Police attended and learned that 2 suspects had entered the business and had stolen goods and money. At the time of the incident, the suspects were armed with a BB gun and large knife. During the robbery, one of the suspects discharged the BB gun several times at the business employee, striking him in the upper body. The employee also sustained an injury to his hand as a result of being cut by one of the suspects who was armed with the knife. Police were unable to locate the suspects at the time. Police continue to investigate. No other details will be released at this time.
Arrest Warrant:
On February 9, 2024, at 10:49pm, police were dispatched to a disturbance within a residence in the 1200 block of 10th Street. Police located and arrested a 24 year old female who was found to have a warrant for her arrest. The female was later released with a future court date.
Fail to Comply with Court Order:
On February 10, 2024, at 1:20am, police encountered a 30 year old male within a business in the 3100 block of Victoria Avenue. The male was found to be in the company of a female that he is on conditions not to have any contact with. The male was arrested and later released with a future court date.
