Arrest Warrant:

On December 2, 2023, at 12:36pm, police attended to a residence in the 300 block of 8th Street regarding a female sleeping in the building foyer.  Police located a 30 year old female who was found to have a warrant for her arrest.  Police arrested and later released her with a future court date.

Arrest Warrant:

On December 2, 2023, at 2:19pm, a 16 year old female attended the Brandon Police Service regarding two warrants for her arrest.  The female was arrested, lodged and appeared before a Justice regarding the matter.

Breach of Peace:

On December 2, 2023, at 10:27pm, police were notified by security at the Town Centre that there was a male who had gained access to the building and was refusing to leave.  Police attended and arrested a 31 year old male for Breach of the Peace.  The male was lodged at the Brandon Police Service to prevent a continuation of the offence.

Fail to Comply Release Order:

On December 2, 2023, at 10:32pm, police were dispatched to a disturbance in the 300 block of Aberdeen Avenue.  Police located two 18 year old females who were highly intoxicated and causing the disturbance.  One of the females was found to be breaching her Release Order Conditions which included:  a curfew, abstain from alcohol and not to attend the city of Brandon.  Both females were arrested and lodged at the Brandon Police Service.  One of the females will appear before a Justice regarding her Release Order Breaches and the other female was released once sober.

Theft/Fraud Use of Credit Card:

On November 13, 2023, police received a report from Brandon resident that his credit card had been stolen and used at a local business.  Police obtained video surveillance of the suspect using the stolen credit card from the business.  The suspect was identified, and on December 3, 2023, police arrested a 25 year old male regarding the offences.  The male was later released with a future court date.

Prohibited Driving/Fail to Comply with Release Order:

On December 3, 2023, at 03:36am, police conducted a traffic stop in the 800 block of 3rd Street.  The driver of the vehicle was found to be prohibited from driving in Canada and subject to Release Order conditions which included: not to occupy the driver seat of a motor vehicle and not to operate a motor vehicle.  The 49 year old male was arrested and lodged at the Brandon Police Service where he will appear before a Justice regarding the matter.  The male was also issued tickets under the Highway Traffic Act in relation to driving an unregistered vehicle.
