Warrant - Fail to Attend Court
On August 5, 2023, at approximately 9:30am, police located an 18 year old female in the 000 block of 9th Street, who had a warrant for failing to appear in court. The female was arrested and released with a future court date.
Warrant – Fail to Attend Court:
On August 5, 2023, at approximately 10:12pm, police located a 34 year old male in the 1300 block of Richmond Avenue, who was found to be wanted on a warrant for failing to appear in court. The male was arrested and released with a future court date.
Fail to Comply with Release Order:
On August 5, 2023, at 9:59pm, police attended to an address in the 300 block of Dennis St. regarding a female youth who had failed to comply with her curfew, a condition of her Release Order. The female was arrested and lodged at the Brandon Police Station where she appeared before a Justice regarding the matter.
Break and Enter:
On August 6, 2023, at approximately 12:01am, police located and arrested a 29 year old male in the 1100 block of Rosser Avenue. The male was arrested in relation to a break and enter that occurred on August 4, 2023, in the 200 block of 14th Street. The male was conveyed to the Brandon Police Station where he was later released with a future court date.
On August 6, 2023, at 12:25am, police conducted a traffic stop in the 800 block of Princess Avenue. A 39 year old male passenger in the vehicle was found to be breaching 2 Release Order Conditions. The male was arrested and lodged at the Brandon Police Station where he appeared before a Justice on the matter.
Possession of a Scheduled Substance / Possess Prohibited Weapon / Fail to Comply Undertaking:
On August 6, 2023, at 3:04am, police conducted a traffic stop in the 1300 block of Park Avenue. During the traffic stop and subsequent search of the vehicle, police located a conducted energy weapon and a small quantity of methamphetamine. The 27 year old driver of the vehicle was arrested in relation to the weapon and drugs. A 36 year old passenger in the vehicle was also arrested in relation to the weapon and drugs. The 36 year old male was also found to be breaching a condition of his Undertaking where he is not to possess illegal drugs. The driver of the vehicle was later released with a future court date. The passenger of the vehicle was lodged at the Brandon Police Station where he appeared before a Justice.
