Traffic stop leads to arrest

On Saturday, March 2nd, Police conducted a traffic stop during which the driver was found to be disqualified from driving. It was then discovered that the 26yr old male driver was bound by a Release Order with a condition not to be in contact with the female who was a passenger in the vehicle. The Brandon man was arrested and will appear in Court today.

 

Man arrested for Breaching Undertaking

At 8:33pm on Saturday evening, Police were called to a disturbance at residence in the 2300 block of Brandon Ave. One of subjects in the residence was found to be on an Undertaking with conditions not to attend that address and not to communicate with the other person that was there. The 43yr old Brandon man will appear in Court today.

 

Police respond to disturbance

At approximately 10:06pm Saturday evening Police responded to a disturbance at a residence in the 1500 block of Stickney Ave. and learned that a 30yr old male had assaulted a female at that residence. The male suspect challenged officers at the scene and resisted while being arrested. The resulting investigation lead to the Brandon man being charged with numerous offences including but not limited to, Assault x2, Assault by choking and Resist Arrest. He will appear in Court today.

 

Breach of Peace

Early Sunday morning just after 4am, Police were called to an apartment complex in the 200 block of 8th St for an intoxicated male banging on the doors there. A 33yr old male from The Pas was located and was found to be the same person that Police had received a disturbance call on earlier in the evening. He was lodged to prevent any further problems and will be released once sober.
