Possess Prohibited Weapon

On July 27, 2023 shortly after 6:00 am, in the 200 block of Louise Ave, police located and arrested a 32-year-old male pedestrian who was wanted on outstanding charges of Fail to Comply with Probation.  The male was also found to be in possession of a large knife and bear mace.  He was lodged at Brandon Police Service to appear in court on additional Charges of Possess Prohibited Weapon and Possess Weapon.

 

Theft Under $5000

On July 27, 2023 at approximately 9:00 pm, police responded to a report of a theft of merchandise from a business in the 900 block of 18th street N.  Employees from the business stopped the 33-year-old female and held her in custody until police arrived.  She was later released to appear in court on September 21, 2023 on a charge of Theft Under $5000.

 

Theft Under $5000

On July 27, 2023, police received a report that a delivery package was stolen from a doorstep of a residence in the 500 block of Percy Street shortly after 7:00 am.  Security footage of the theft assisted police in identifying the 36-year-old male suspect.  He was located and arrested later that day.  He was also wanted on charges of Fail to Comply with Probation.  He was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today.

 

Fail to Comply with Release Order

On July 26, 2023, police received a report of a 16-year-old female who had not returned home, in spite of the fact that she was to abide by a court ordered curfew.  She female was located and arrested on July 27, 2023.  She was lodged at Brandon Police Service to appear in court today.

 

Breach of the Peace

On July 28, 2023 at approximately 4:30 am, police responded to a report of a disturbance in the 700 block of 10th street.  An intoxicated 58-year-old male at the scene continued to escalate his behavior while officers were tending to the situation.  He was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

On July 27, 2023 at approximately 9:30 pm, police responded to a report of a fight at a residence.  An intoxicated 20-year-old female was found to be the cause of the issues.  She was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

 

Arrest Warrant

On July 27, 2023, police located and arrested a 31-year-old female who was wanted on outstanding charges of Fail to Attend Court.  She was lodged at Brandon Police Service to appear in court today.
