Mischief Under $5000

On September 10, 2023, police received a report of a male who threw a rock at a business window in the 500 block of 1st street, causing it to break.  Security footage of the male assisted police in identifying the 40-year-old suspect.  On September 26, 2023, he was located and arrested.  He was later released to appear in court on December 11, 2023, on a charge of Mischief Under $5000.

 

Fail to Comply with Release Order

On September 27, 2023, at approximately 2:00 am, police observed a male pedestrian in the 000 block of 10th street.  The 18-year-old male was to abide by a 24-hour curfew.  When police approached the male, he was placed under arrest, but he fled on foot and a brief foot chase ensued before he was apprehended.  He was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today on charges of Fail to comply with Release Order X2 and Resist Arrest.

 

Break and Enter to Residence

On September 27, 2023, at approximately 5:30 am, police responded to a business alarm at a residence in the 400 block of 12th street.  Police attended and discovered a door had been kicked in, however the suspect had fled.  The home was unoccupied at the time, and nothing appeared to be missing.

Arrest Warrants

On September 26, 2023, at approximately 10:00 am, police located and arrested a 37-year-old female near the 800 block of Pacific as she was wanted on outstanding charges of Theft from Mail and Fail to Attend Court.  She was lodged at Brandon Police Service to appear in court.

On September 26, 2023, a 35-year-old male attended to Brandon Police Service as he was aware he was wanted on an outstanding charge of Fail to Attend.  He was later released and will appear in court in October 2023.

On September 26, 2023, at approximately 10:00 pm, police located and arrested a 16-year-old female near the 1000 block of Princess Ave as she was wanted on outstanding charges of Fail to comply with Release Order.  She was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today.

On September 27, 2023, at 5:00 am, police located and arrested a 44-year-old female who was wanted on outstanding charges of Fail to Comply with Probation.  She was lodged at Brandon Police Service to appear in court today.
