Breach of Peace

On July 26, 2022, shortly before 9:00 pm, police responded to a report of a female in the area of the 300 block of 16th street, who seemed to be under the influence of illicit drugs, as she was hallucinating that people were following her.  The female repeatedly called 911 herself regarding her beliefs, but she would not meet with police and sent them to various addresses.  Police located the female shortly before 10:00 pm, and were able to confirm that there was nobody after her.  She was lodged at Brandon Police Service to prevent the continuation of her actions.

 

Consume Under – LCGA

On July 27, 2022, at approximately 12:30 am, police responded to a report of an intoxicated youth in a business in the 3100 block of Victoria Ave.  Employees had to restrain the youth as her actions were becoming violent.  The 14-year-old female’s family members were unable to prevent her behavior from escalating further, and they were unable to keep her safe. She was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober, and will receive a fine for consuming alcohol under age.

 

Breach of Peace

On July 26, 2022, at approximately 11:30 pm, police responded to a report of a party at a residence that was disturbing other individuals in the multi-unit dwelling.  One partygoer was found to be the cause of the disturbance, but he was unwilling to cease his behavior.  The 23-year-old male was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

 

Breach of Peace

On July 27, 2022, shortly after 2:00 am, police responded to a report of several intoxicated females in the area of the 400 block of 1st street. Police located three females, two of whom were youths, and returned them each to their families.  At approximately 3:00 am, one of the families contacted police to report that they could no longer control the actions of their 18-year-old daughter, who was screaming and throwing things around. She was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

 

Arrest Warrants

On July 26, 2022, police located and arrested a 19-year-old female who was wanted on outstanding charges of Robbery, Assault X2 and Uttering Threats.  She was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today.

On July 26, 2022, an 18-year-old female turned herself in on outstanding charges of Fail to Appear Court.  She was later released and will appear in court on September 13, 2022.
