Residential Search Warrants

Following an investigation into stolen property, members of the Major Crime Unit executed search warrants on four residential properties throughout Brandon on November 25, 2021.  Seized was a number of items believed to be stolen.  Investigation into the ownership of the stolen property is ongoing.  Police also seized a small amount of Meth.

Arrested was a 49-year-old male who was later released to appear in court on January 20, 2022 on charges of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, and on February 10, 2022 on a charge of Possession of Meth.

 

Break and Enter to Business Storage

On November 25, 2021, police responded to a report of a break and enter to a construction trailer, which was parked in the 900 block of McTavish Ave E.  Suspects entered the trailer overnight between November 23 and November 24 by forcing the door.  Stolen was a variety of power tools.  Anyone with information regarding this B&E is encouraged to contact Brandon Police Service at 204-729-2345 or https://www.brandon.ca/police-contact/police-contact.

 

Stolen Vehicle

On November 25, 2021, police responded to a report of the theft of a vehicle, which was parked in the 100 block of 9th street.  Suspects took the vehicle overnight and may have used a spare set of keys, which are also missing.  The vehicle is described as a 2006 grey Ford Focus with Manitoba license HEU 572.  Anyone with information regarding this vehicle theft is encouraged to contact Brandon Police Service at 204-729-2345 or https://www.brandon.ca/police-contact/police-contact.

 

Drive While Prohibited

On November 25, 2021, police conducted a vehicle stop in the 400 block of 26th street shortly before 10:00 pm.  The 31-year-old male driver was found to be prohibited from driving and as arrested.  He was later released to appear in court on January 24, 2022 on a charge of Drive While Prohibited.

 

Arrest Warrants

On November 25, 2021, police located and arrested a 25-year-old male who was wanted on outstanding charges of Assault and Fil to Attend Court.  He was later released to appear in court on January 24, 2022.

On November 25, 2021 police located and arrested a 48-year-old female ho was wanted on outstanding charges of Theft Under, Fail to Comply with Undertaking and Fail to Attend Court.  She was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today.

On November 26, 2021, police located and arrested a 27-year-old male who was wanted on outstanding charges of Fail to Attend Court, and Fail to Comply with Probation.  He was later released to appear in court on January 24, 2022.

On November 25, 2021, police located and arrested a 27-year-old male who was wanted on outstanding charges of Possession of Controlled Substance and Fail to Attend Court. He was later released to appear in court on January 20, 2022.

On November 25, 2021, police located and arrested a 34-year-old female who was wanted on outstanding charges of Robbery with Violence, Attempted Robbery with Violence and Public Mischief.  She was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today.

On November 25, 2021, police located and arrested a 43-year-old male who was wanted on outstanding charges of Fail to Attend Court and Operate Conveyance While Prohibited.  He was later released to appear in court on January 20, 2022.
