Possession of Property Obtained by Crime

On January 23, 2022, during a traffic stop, police observed property they believed to be stolen from a business earlier in the day.  The property was seized, and the occupants of the vehicle were sent on their way.  Investigation later confirmed the property to be stolen.

On January 24, 2022, police located and arrested the 55-year-old male who was in possession of the stolen property the day prior.  He was later released and will appear in court on March 21, 2022 on a charge of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.

 

Arrest Warrants

On January 24, 2022, police located and arrested a 36-year-old male who was wanted on outstanding charges of Possess Controlled Substance and Fail to Attend Court.  He was later released to appear in court in April 2022.

On January 24, 2022, police responded to a report of a disturbance in a residence shortly after 1:00 pm.  One of the individuals involved was found to be wanted on outstanding charges of Fail to Comply with Probation X2.  He was arrested and later released to appear in court on February 22, 2022.

 

Breach of Peace

On January 24, 2022, shortly before 7:00 pm, police responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence.  A 42-year-old male was intoxicated and trying to fight others at the home.  He was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service to prevent further problems.

 

Trespass Act

On January 24, 2022, shortly before 11:00 pm, police responded to a report of a male sleeping in the common area of an apartment building.  The 27-year-old male had no other alternate accommodations available to him and he had nowhere of his own to stay.  He was lodged at Brandon Police Service under the Petty Trespass Act and will be released in the morning.
