Court Order Violations

On Thursday evening, police attended a residence for a disturbance and located a 34-year-old female from Brandon who is wanted on an endorsed warrant for failing to comply with her probation order. The female was arrested and released for court in September.

At 1:30 am, Friday morning, police conducted a traffic stop in the 1200 block of Pacific Avenue. One of the occupants of the vehicle, a 33-year-old Brandon female was in violation of her court ordered curfew. She was arrested and released for court in September. A second occupant, a 38-year-old male from Sioux Valley, is on a court order with a condition not to attend the city of Brandon. He was arrested and released for court in September. The third occupant, a 26-year-old Brandon male was in possession of a machete and is on a probation order with a condition not to possess weapons. He was arrested and charged with breach of probation and possessing a dangerous weapon. He was released and will appear in court in September.

On Thursday afternoon, police received a report of an unconscious female in the 200 block of 11th Street East. The female was located, highly intoxicated. She was identified and it was learned that she is bound by the conditions of an undertaking to abstain from consuming alcohol. The 20-year-old Brandon female was arrested and released once sober to appear in court in October.

On Thursday afternoon, police attended a 911 hang up call in the 600 block of Douglas Street. A 33-year-old Brandon male was located at the residence who is on conditions to have no contact with the female resident and not to attend where she is residing. The male was arrested and held in custody for a bail hearing later in the evening.

 

Warrant Executed

Early Thursday evening, police conducted a traffic stop in the 1400 block of 6th Street. The 33-year-old male driver was found to be wanted on an endorsed warrant for failing to appear for fingerprints and failing to appear in court. He was arrested and released for court in September.

 

Break and Enters

On Thursday morning, the occupant of a residence in the 300 block of 7th Street reported that someone had attempted to break in to her residence sometime overnight. Two screens from her windows had been removed but no entry was gained to the residence. The police investigation is continuing.

On Thursday morning, the property owner of a residence in the 800 block of 24th Street reported that the rear door of the residence had been forced open sometime overnight. Some electronics and other miscellaneous items were stolen. The police investigation is continuing.
