Brandon Police Service Media Release for the Past 24 Hours.
A female youth turned herself in and was arrested on a warrant for Assault Cause Bodily Harm, Assault, Resist Arrest and FTA Court. She appeared in court on Saturday morning.
A 29 year old Brandon man was arrested on a warrant following a traffic stop on Friday Evening. He was lodged to appear in court on Saturday.
A 24 year old Brandon man was arrested after he stopped in the 1600 block of Van Horne Ave and found to have a warrant for breaching a release order. He was lodged to appear in court on Saturday.
At 2:39 am on Saturday, a vehicle struck a fence in the 1600 block of Sycamore Dr. Officers attended and located the driver of the vehicle who displayed signs of impairment. He was arrested and provided samples of his breath at the police service with results exceeding the legal limit. A 19 year old Brandon resident has been charged with Impaired Driving and Driving over 80 mg%. He was released to appear in court later in June.
At 5:54 am on Saturday morning, an officer observed a male in the 500 block of 6th St with a bicycle that was stolen earlier in the day. The male, a 47 year old Brandon resident, was arrested and released to appear in court in August on a charge of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.
Five people were lodged for Breach of Peace.
