Arrest Warrant Executed

At 9:45 PM Thursday, police were called to an address in the 500 block of Louise Ave, for what was reportedly a break and enter in progress.  Upon arrival the break and enter was unfounded.  Officers did however speak to a 35-year-old female at that location who was found to be the subject of an RCMP arrest warrant from Amaranth MB.  The female was arrested on the strength of the warrant for failing to appear in court.  She has since been released from custody with a court date of May 18, in Amaranth.

 

Intoxicated Persons Detention Act

At approx. 2:00 PM Thursday, a 32-year-old male was found passed out on a bench in the Shoppers Mall.  The male was too intoxicated to care for himself, so he was held overnight until sober.

 

Breach of the Peace

At approx. 10:45 PM Thursday, officers were called to the area of the 3500 block of Willowdale, for a disturbance.  A 26-year-old female was located in a highly intoxicated state yelling and screaming and smashing things within a her residence.  When she refused to calm, she was arrested and held at the Brandon Police Service until sober.
