Assault

On July 18, 2022, at approximately 4:32 pm, police responded to the 200 block of 23rd Street for report of a male and female fighting.  Witnesses observed the male strike the female then they both fled into a nearby residence where police located both parties. The 32-year-old male was arrested and released to appear in court on September 29th, 2022, on a charge of Assault.

 

Utter Threats

On July 18, 2022, at approximately 8:27 pm, police responded to 900 block of Princess Avenue for a report of uttering threats.  A downtown security officer reported that a male had threatened him with a knife near the skate park then fled in a vehicle. Police located the vehicle, and the 52-year-old male suspect was arrested. He was released to appear in court on September 26th on charges of Possession of a Weapon and Uttering Threats.

 

Fail to Comply Release Order 

On July 19, 2022, at approximately 1:21 am, police responded to the 600 block of Princess Avenue East for report of a disturbance. The 21-year-old female suspect who was intoxicated and causing problems was located in the area.

Investigation revealed she was bound by a release order with a curfew as well as a condition to abstain from consuming alcohol. She was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service to appear in court today.

 

Arrest Warrants

On July 18, 2022, during a traffic stop, police located and arrested a 37-year-old male who was wanted on an outstanding DNA Warrant from British Columbia. The warrant was executed, and he was released.

 

On July 18, 2022, a 42-year-old male was arrested in Stonewall on outstanding Brandon Police Services charges of Fail to Comply Release Order x3 and Fail to Appear Court.  He was lodged to appear in Stonewall Provincial court today.

 

On July 18, 2022, at approximately 8:55 pm, police conducted a traffic stop in the 400 block of 14th Street.  The 20-year-old male passenger was found to be the subject of an outstanding arrest warrant for Assault.  He was arrested and released to appear in court on September 5th, 2022.
