Possession of Break-In Instruments

On October 17, 2021 shortly after 9:00 am, police responded to a report of a male in the area of 1400 1st street.  Witnesses report that the male was behaving suspiciously.  Police located and arrested the 34-year-old male who was in possession of Break-In Instruments, contrary to previous release conditions. 

The male was also in possession of Meth and an assortment of power tools which are believed to be stolen; however, ownership of the tools needs to be determined and remains under investigation. 

The male was later released to appear in court on January 13, 2022 on charges of Fail to Comply with Undertaking, Possession of Meth, and Possession of Break-In Instruments.

 

Break and Enter to Business Shed

On October 17, 2021, police responded to a report of a Break and Enter to a business shed in the 200 block of College Ave.  Suspects gained entry overnight by forcing the door.  Stolen was an assortment of frozen meat and food from a freezer.

Break and Enter to Residential Shed

On October 17, 2021, police responded to a report of a break and enter to a shed in the 000 block of Queens Cres.  Suspects gained entry between October 11 and October 17 by forcing a door.  Stolen was an Electric Bike, Golf Clubs, and an assortment of tools and garden tools.

Arrest Warrants

On October 17, 2021, police located and arrested a 42-year-old male who was wanted on outstanding charges of Fail to Comply with Probation.  He was later released to appear in court on December 16, 2021.

On October 17, 2021, police located and arrested a 29-year-old male who was wanted on outstanding charges of Theft Under $5000.  He was later released to appear in court on December 16, 2021.

On October 18, 2021, police located and arrested a 29-year-old female who was wanted on outstanding charges of Theft Under, Fail to Attend Court, and Fail to Comply with Probation.  She was later released and will appear in court on November 22, 2021.

 

Breach of Peace

On October 17, 2021, police responded to a report of a male yelling in the 000 block of 7th street at approximately 4:00 pm.  Police located the 33-year-old male who was under the influence of illicit drugs and alcohol.  He was arrested to prevent his behavior from escalating, and lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

On October 18, 2021, police responded to a report of a female causing a disturbance by yelling and damaging sale signs in the street in the area of Sycamore and Magnolia Drive.  Police located and arrested the 20-year-old female who was intoxicated.  To prevent her behavior from escalating she was arrested and lodged t Brandon Police Service until sober.
