January 15th 2022 Media Release January 15th 2022 Brandon Police Service Media Release for the Past 24 Hours. Possession of Property Obtained by Crime A 25 year old woman from Brandon was arrested on Friday afternoon and charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime. The woman was intoxicated and causing a disturbance at Brandon Regional Health Center. The woman was taken into custody and had in her possession a package of maternity clothes that were stolen earlier in the day from a residence on Wapiti Way. The woman was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will be released when she is sober with a court date in March. Fraud Under $5000 A 38 year old Brandon woman was arrested on Friday afternoon on charges of Fraud Under $5000 and Possession of Property obtained by Crime. She was located operating a vehicle by the investigating officer and arrested. She had committed a fraud at a store in the Brandon Shoppers Mall in December 2021. She will appear in court on the charges in March. Other Arrests A 16 year old male youth was arrested on Friday night in the 1000 block of Van Horne Ave. He was breaching a curfew condition. He was released to appear in court in February. A 28 year old Brandon man was stopped driving a vehicle in the 600 block of 10th St. He was breaching two conditions of a court order and was arrested. He will appear in court on Saturday morning. A 41 year old man from Brandon was arrested on a warrant Assault held by Winnipeg Police Service. He was released to appear in court in Winnipeg in April. A 36 year old woman from Brandon was arrested on a warrant for Failing to Attend Court and Break and Enter. She was released to appear in court in March. A 26 year old woman was arrested on several warrant for theft and fraudulent use of a credit card. She was lodged to appear in court on Saturday morning. V.W.
