Break and Enter to Residence

On September 13, 2023, police responded to a report of a break and enter to a residence on Almond Crescent.  Suspects entered the home by forcing their way through the back door.  Due to the residence being under construction it is undetermined at this time if anything has been stolen.

On September 13, 2023, police responded to a report of a break and enter to a residence in the 700 block of Rosser Avenue. Suspects entered the home through an open window. Stolen items include prescription medications and a collector sword that is approximately two feet long with a skull design on the hilt.

Theft Under $5000

On September 13, 2023, shortly after 10:00 am, police responded to a report of a theft of merchandise from a business in the 600 block of 18th Street. Investigation revealed that the 40-year-old male suspect left the store with approximately $25 worth of goods without paying. He was arrested and later released to appear in court on November 16, 2023, on a charge of Theft Under $5000.

 

Breach of the Peace

On September 13, 2023, shortly before 10:00 pm, police responded to a report of a disturbance in the 900 block of Rosser Avenue.  An intoxicated male was located in the area.  The 29-year-old male was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober to prevent his actions from escalating.

 

Assault

On September 13, 2023, at approximately 10:18 pm, police responded to a 911 hang up call in the 1600 block of Victoria Avenue East. Investigation revealed that a 37-year-old male suspect had assaulted the female victim by punching her while confining her to their residence. He was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service to appear in court today on charges of Assault and Forcible Confinement.

Arrest Warrants

On September 13, 2023, shortly before 9:30 am, police located and arrested a 48-year-old female wanted on outstanding charges of Fail to Attend Court and Theft Under $5000. She was later released to appear in court in November 2023.

On September 13, 2023, police located and arrested a 23-year-old female wanted on outstanding charges of Fail to Attend for Ident. She was later released to appear in court on November 23, 2023.

On September 14, 2023, shortly after 1:00 am, a 31-year-old male attended to Brandon Police Service on an unrelated matter when he was found to be wanted on an outstanding charge of Assault. He was arrested and later released to appear in court on October 12, 2023.

On September 14, 2023, at approximately 5:30 am, a 16-year-old female was located and arrested on outstanding charges of Assault and Fail to Attend for Ident. She was later released to appear in court in November 2023.
