Arrest Warrant Executed

At approximately 0545 hrs, police attended to a suspicious vehicle complaint in 1800 block of Aagard ave. Members attended and located a 26 year old male whom was found to be evading an outstanding arrest warrant. He was released with a court date in November.

 

Possession of Stolen Property

At 1719 hrs, members observed a 36 year old male riding a bicycle that was known to be stolen. Upon conducting a check on the police information database, it was confirmed that the bicycle was in fact stolen. The male subject was arrested and released with a court date in November.

 

Arrest Warrant Executed  

At 2130 hrs, a 30 year old male subject attended to the Brandon Police Service station to turn himself in on an outstanding arrest warrant. He was released from police custody to appear before the courts in October. Police attended and located a 38 year old male whom was in breach of a condition of his release order. He was arrested and lodged in BPS cells until sober where he will be released with a court date in November.

 

Breach of Release Order 

At 0030 hrs, police attended to a residence in the 800 block of 16th street for an intoxicated male that was causing a disturbance. Upon arrival, members located a 38 year old male that was found to be in breach of a condition of his release order. He was arrested and lodged in BPS cells where he would be released once sober on a release order with a court date in November.

 

Impaired Driving/Arrest Warrant Executed

At approximately 0200 hrs, police were enroute to a residence on Winter Bay when one of the responding officers observed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed away from the area of the call. Police followed the vehicle and observed it hit the curb while trying to navigate the bend in the road on Willowdale Cres. The 23 year old male driver was found to be intoxaicated and was arrested for impaired driving. He was brought back to the Brandon Police Service station where he provided two breath samples over the legal limit. He was also charged with Dangerous Driving. The male subject was lodged in BPS cells where he will appear in court once sober.

A 39 year old male passenger of the vehicle was also found to have an outstanding arrest warrant and was arrested at the scene. This male subject was held in BPS cells to appear before the courts in the morning.
