Robbery

On June 13, 2022 at approximately 5:20 pm, police responded to a report of a robbery, which occurred in the 300 block of 5th street.

Investigation revealed that two adult females were walking in the area when they were approached by two male suspects.

One suspects shoved one of the females to the ground and stole her brown ACC backpack, which contained ID, personal paperwork and cash.  The victim did not sustain any serious injuries.

The suspects fled once the other female called for assistance.

The suspects are described as being male 18-20 years old.

One suspect was wearing a black hat, white shirt, black pants, and was approximately 5’9” and skinny.

The second suspect was wearing a red hoody, red mask, red pants, red shoes and was approximately 5’9” and very skinny.

Assault

On June 13, 2022, police responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence shortly after 9:00 am.  A 22-year-old male had assaulted a resident in the home before breaking a window because he had been told he was not welcome at the home. 

Following his arrest, he was lodged at Brandon Police Service to appear in court later in the day on charges of Assault and Mischief Under $5000.  The victim did not require medical attention.

 

IPDA

On June 13, 2022 at approximately 3:00 pm, police responded to a report of a female in the 300 block of 11th street who was acting out by banging on doors and screaming.  Police located and arrested the intoxicated 20-year-old female.  She was in no condition to be on her own, so she was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

 

Arrest Warrants

On June 13, 2022, police located and arrested a 47-year-old male who was wanted on outstanding charges of Fail to comply with Release Order X2.  He was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today.

On June 13, 2022, a 16-year-old male turned himself in to police, as he was aware of outstanding charges of Assault, Assault by Choking and Fail to Comply with Release Order.  He was lodged and will appear in court today.

On June 14, 2022, shortly after midnight, police responded to a disturbance in a residence.  The disturbance had resolved itself, but one of the individuals in the home was found to be wanted on outstanding charges of Fail to Attend Court, Flight from PO, Driving While Ability Impaired and Fail to Comply with Probation.  The 27-year-old male was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service.  He will appear in court today.
