Assault / Sexual Assault / Mischief to Property

At approx. 6:00 AM Sunday, police received a call of a domestic assault that had occurred prior. The female victim indicated that her boyfriend had punched her and smashed her phone.  During further investigation the victim indicated that the same male had sexually assaulted her in the past.  The 27 year old Brandon male was located at his residence and placed under arrest for assault, sexual assault and mischief to property.  He appeared in court on Sunday, he has since been released from custody pending his next court appearance.

 

Sexual Assault

At approx. noon on Sunday, a female attended to the Police Service to report that she had been the victim of a sexual assault in the early morning of July 11th.  The victim indicated that she had been sleeping at an address in Brentwood Trailer Court when she was awoken by a male known to her that was fondling her in a sexual manner.  Later in the day the 29 year old Brandon male was located and arrested for sexual assault.  He has been released pending a court date of October 8.

 

Assault

On July 10th police received a report of an assault that had occurred on the previous day.  The victim indicated that he attended to a residence in the 200 block of Dennis to serve an eviction notice.  While there, the two tenants became agitated and both females punched the male landlord in the head.  On Sunday, officers located the two suspects, aged 30 and 31, and arrested them for assault.  They were both released with a court date of October 8.

 

Uttering Threats / Assault / Possession of a Weapon

At approx. 8 PM Sunday, police received a call from a female indicating that her ex-boyfriend had attended to her residence and threatened her with a knife.  The 22-year-old Brandon male was located and arrested for possession of a weapon dangerous, assault and uttering threats. He will appear in court later this morning.
