Theft Under $5000

On July 4, 2022, police received a report of the theft of merchandise from a business in the 900 block of Victoria Ave.  The 29-year-old male who was known to the employees of the business, left prior to police arrival.  On July 11, 2022, the male was located and arrested.  He was later released to appear in court on August 29, 2022 on a charge of Theft Under $5000.

 

Breach of Peace

On July 11, 2022 shortly before 10:00 am, police responded to a report of a male who was passed out on the sidewalk in the 600 block of 11th street.  The 27-year-old male became combative when police woke him up.  To prevent his behavior from escalating, he was lodged at Brandon Police Service.

 

IPDA

On July 11, 2022, shortly after 2:00 pm, police responded to a report of a female crying in the street in the 600 block of 9th street.  The 22-year-old female was in no condition to care for herself, and there was nobody to look after her, so she was lodged until sober.

 

Breach of Peace

On July 11, shortly before 5:00 pm, police responded to a fight in a residence between family members.  The cause of the issues was determined to be a 24-year-old female who was intoxicated.  Her family were unable to prevent her actions from continuing so she was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

 

Arrest Warrant

On July 11, 2022, a 34-year-old female turned herself at Brandon Police Service, as she was aware of outstanding charges.  She was lodged and will appear in court today on charges of Break and Enter, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, and Fraud Over $5000.

On July 11, 2022, police located and arrested a 38-year-old male who was wanted on an outstanding charge of a Fail to Comply with Undertaking.  He was lodged and will appear in court today.
