Highlights For the past 24 hours:
Assault with a Weapon
At 10:49 pm on February 9th, Police were called to a potential weapon call in the area of the 1200 block of 9th St. Through further investigation, it was determined that a 22 year old female had forced her way into a residence in the 1200 block of 10th St and assaulted a 21 year old male. The female struck the victim multiple times in the arm with a machete causing the male to require medical attention for the non-life threatening injuries. The female also discharged a can of bear spray while inside the residence. The suspect was arrested and held for court. She was charged with break and enter and commit, two counts of assault with a weapon, and two counts of possession of a weapon.
Warrants for Arrest
At 10:02 pm, Police attended to the 800 block of Pacific Ave and located a 21 year old female and arrested her on her unendorsed warrant for failing to attend court and breaching her probation. She was held in custody for court.
At 11:00 pm, Police located a 43 year old male in the 800 block of Pacific Ave and arrested him on his warrant for failing to appear in court. He was later released on an appearance notice to appear in court at a later date.
At 1:22 am, Police conducted a traffic stop and as a result a 35 year old female was arrested on a warrant for failing to appear in court. She was later released on an appearance notice to appear in court at a later date.
