Stolen Vehicle – Recovered in Alexander, MB

On November 9, 2021, police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle from the 1500 block of 26th street.  Suspects stole the vehicle while it was left running to warm up prior to 7:00 am.  It was later recovered in Alexander, and had been completely burned.  Police would like to remind everyone not to leave running vehicles unattended if you do not have command start.

Residential Fire

On November 10, 2021 at 1:22 am, police responded with members of BFES to a residential fire in the 1200 block of Rosser Ave.  The fire was contained to one of the units in the building, but most of the building suffered smoke damage.  All of the residents were evacuated, and there were no reported injuries.  The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

 

Break and Enter to Residential Shed

On November 9, 2021, police responded to a report of a break and enter to a residential shed in the 600 block of 10th street.  Suspects gained entry to the shed shortly after 1:00 pm by forcing the door.  Stolen was a red and black Supercycle bike.

 

Break and Enter to Residence

On November 9, 2021, police responded to a report of a Break and enter to a residence in the 300 block of 3rd street.  Suspects gained entry through an insecure door overnight and stole a tablet, a blue and white beach bag style purse that contained ID, Credit Cards and keys.

Utter Threats X 5

On November 2, 2021, police received a complaint of Utter Threats.  Investigation revealed that the suspect, a 37-year-old male threatened to kill 5 other individuals.  He turned himself in for arrest on November 9, 2021.  He was later released and will appear in court on January 31, 2021 on charges of Utter Threats X5.

 

Breach of Peace

On November 9, 2021, police responded to a report of an intoxicated female, whose behavior was escalating in her home, and others were concerned for her wellbeing, and unable to prevent her behavior from continuing.  The 20-year-old female was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

 

Fail to comply with Release Order

On November 10, 2021, police conducted a traffic stop in the 1000 block of Princess Ave shortly before 3:00 am.  The driver had two knives sitting beside him in the vehicle contrary to a release order.  The 30-year-old male was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear I court today on charges of Fail to Comply with Release Order X 3.

 

Breach of Peace

On November 9, 2021, police responded to a report of an intoxicated female causing a disturbance in the 800 block of Princess Ave shortly after 1:00 pm.  The 42-year-old female was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober to prevent her behavior from escalating further.

 

Arrest Warrant

On November 9, 2021, police located and arrested a 23-year-old male who was wanted on outstanding charges of Assault with a Weapon.  He was later released to appear in court on December 30, 2021.

On November 9, 2021, a 36-year-old female attended Brandon Police Service, and was arrested on an outstanding charge of Assault PO.  She was later released to appear in court on December 30, 2021.

On November 9, 2021, police located and arrested a 27-year-old female who was wanted on outstanding charges of Impaired Driving.  She was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today.

On November 9, 2021, police located and arrested a 39-year-old male who was wanted on several outstanding charges of Fraud, Assault and Utter Threats.  The male was later released to appear in court at a later date.
