Mischief Under $5000

On September 6, 2023, police responded to a report of youth causing damage to a vehicle in the Green Acres area by intentionally scraping it with a piece of wood.  Police attended and arrested a 13-year-old male.  He was released to a parent, and will appear in court on November 21, 2023, on a charge of Mischief.

 

Breach of the Peace

On September 6, 2023, police responded to a report of a disturbance as a youth was punching holes into the walls at a residence shortly before 9:00 pm.  Others in the home were unable to prevent his actions from escalating.  The 15-year-old male was lodged at Brandon Police Service to prevent his actions from continuing.

 

Fail to Comply with Release Order

On September 7, 2023, shortly before 4:00 am, police conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of Princess Ave.  A 16-year-old female passenger who was to abide by a daily curfew was arrested.  She was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today on a charge of Fail to Comply with Release Order.

 

Arrest Warrant

On September 6, 2023, a 28-year-old male attended to Brandon Police Service as he was aware of an outstanding arrest warrant for Fail to Attend Court.  He was later released to appear in court on October 11, 2023.

 

Breach of Conditional Sentence Order

On September 6, 2023, shortly before 10:00 am, police conducted a traffic stop in the 1000 block of 10th street.  Two males in the vehicle were found to be breaching conditions of their Conditional Sentence Orders.  Arrested were a 57-year-old male and a 63-year-old male.  Both were lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today.

 

Theft Under $5000

On September 5, 2023, police received a report of the theft of groceries from a business in the 3400 block of Victoria.  Security footage from the business assisted police in identifying the suspect.  On September 6, 2023, the 41-year-old male was arrested and later released to appear in court on November 16, 2023, on a charge of Theft Under $5000.

 

Fail to Comply with Release Order

On September 6, 2023, police received a report of a 19-year-old male who had failed to comply with the condition of his release order which was contacting contacting Probation Services by September 2, 2023.  On September 6, 2023, he was located, arrested, and lodged at Brandon Police Service.  He will appear in court today for Fail to comply with Release Order.

 

Fail to Comply with Undertaking

On September 6, 2023, at approximately 3:30 pm, police conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of 10th street.  One of the passengers was to have no communication with another occupant of the vehicle.  The 29-year-old male was arrested and later released to appear in court on November 6, 2023, on a charge of Fail to Comply with Undertaking.
