Residential Search Warrants – CDSA

On April 1, 2022, police conducted search warrants at two neighboring apartments in the 500 block of Louise Ave shortly before 8:00 pm.  Police located 9 grams of Meth, cash and drug trafficking paraphernalia in one apartment.  Also located was a can of bear mace, and imitation firearms.  In the second apartment, police located an additional gram of Meth, more drug trafficking paraphernalia and an electric Giant Bike, which had been reported stolen.

Four individuals face charges following the searches.

A 52-year-old female was arrested and later released to appear in court on May 30, 2022 on charges of Fail to comply with Probation and Fail to Attend Court. 

A 34-year-old female was arrested and later released to appear in court on May 30, 2022 on a charge of Theft Under $5000.

A 35-year-old female was arrested and later released to appear in court on June 9, 2022 on a charge of Possess For the Purpose of Trafficking Meth, Proceeds of Crime and Possess Weapon.

A 27-year-old male was arrested and later released to appear in court on June 9, 2022 on charges of Possess for the Purpose of Trafficking Meth and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.

Edit:  Police located 1 ounce of Meth the second appartment.

 

Fail to Comply with Undertaking

On April 2, 2022, police became aware of a 16-year-old male who did not comply with his curfew.  He returned to his residence in the afternoon of April 3, 2022 and was arrested.  He was released to appear in court on May 31, 2022.

 

Arrest Warrant

On April 3, 2022, police located and arrested on outstanding charges of Distribute Intimate images, Harassing Phone Calls and Fail to Comply with Release Order X2.  He was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today.

 

Break and Enter to Residence

On April 3, 2022, police responded to a report of a break and enter to a residence in the 2700 block of Rosser Ave.  Suspects are believed to have forced their way into the home overnight through a door.  Stolen was a new 55” Samsung TV which was in its original packaging.
