Carry Concealed Weapon

On October 31, 2023, at approximately 11:00 pm, police responded to a report of a male holding what appeared to be a handgun at a business in the 1800 block of Brandon Ave.  The suspect fled but police located and arrested him nearby in the 1100 block of 18th street.  The 31-year-old male suspect had a replica toy firearm in his possession upon his arrest.  He was lodged at Brandon Police Service and was later released once sober to appear in court on December 28, 2023, on charges of Possess Weapon and Carry Concealed Weapon.

 

Stolen Vehicle Recovered

On November 1, 2023, shortly before 3:00 am, police came across a stolen vehicle, which was parked and unoccupied in the 500 block of Princess Ave E.  The vehicle, a 2011 white Chev Cruz, was stolen out of Shoal Lake MB.

Arrest Warrants

On November 1, 2023, police located and arrested a 37-year-old female who was wanted on outstanding charges of Fail to Attend.  She was later released to appear in court on December 28, 2023.

On November 1, 2023, police located and arrested a 28-year-old male who was wanted on outstanding charges of Fail to Comply with Probation and Fail to Attend Court.  He was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today.
