Stolen Vehicle

On November 30, 2023, police received a report of a stolen vehicle that occurred sometime overnight at a business in the 000 block of 1st Street. The vehicle is described as a red, 2003 F350 with MB License Plate KKR 804. It has a “Lindenbergh Seed” sticker on the inside of the rear passenger window and a 5th wheel hitch and tailgate. Police continue to investigate.

Stolen Vehicle Recovered

On November 30, 2023, police located a stolen white, 2005 Chevrolet truck in the 700 block of 11th Street with MB License Plate CPH 909. It was reported missing from Portage Agri-Sales in Portage la Prairie.  Police continue to investigate.

Fail to Comply Release Order

On November 29, 2023, police responded to a report of 17-year-old female who did not return home on time for her court ordered curfew. On November 30th, 2023, the female was located and arrested. She was later released to appear in court on February 6, 2024 on a charge of Failure to comply with a Release Order.

Theft Under $5000

On November 22, 2023, police received a report of a theft in the amount of $172 from a business in the 100 block of Victoria Avenue East. The 50-year-old male suspect was identified via video surveillance. On November 30, 2023, he was located and arrested. He was later released to appear in court on February 8, 2024.

Fail to Comply Release Order

On December 1, 2023, police responded to a report of a disturbance in the 1900 block of Queens Avenue.  A 32-year-old female was located inside the establishment and was found to be noncompliant with her release order conditions not to consume alcohol and abide by a curfew. Further investigation also revealed that she was wanted on outstanding charges of Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking. She was lodged at Brandon Police Service to appear in court today.

Break and Enter to Business

On December 1, 2023, shortly after 4:00 am, police responded to a report of a break and enter to a business in the 600 block of 10th street.  Entry was gained by breaking a glass panel in the front entrance. A laptop was stolen. Police continue to investigate.

Breach of Peace

On November 30, 2023, shortly after 9:00 pm, police responded to a report of a disturbance in a residence.  A 47-year-old female who had been asked to leave was refusing to do so.  Due to her behaviour and level of intoxication she was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will be released once sober.

IPDA

On November 30, 2023, shortly after 11:00 pm, police responded to report of a highly intoxicated male near the Brandon Regional Health Centre. The 40-year-old male, who had no place to stay, was located and lodged at Brandon Police Service to be released once sober.

Arrest Warrants

On November 30, 2023, police located and arrested a 43-year-old male who was wanted on an outstanding charge of Break and Enter.  Following his arrest, he was released to appear in court.

On November 30, 2023, police located and arrested a 19-year-old male who was wanted on an outstanding charge of Breach of Probation YCJA.  He remains in custody at Brandon Correctional Centre and will appear in court today.

On November 30, 2023, shortly after 5:30 pm, police located a 43-year-old female who was wanted on outstanding charges of Attempted Theft Under, Theft Under x2, Failure to comply with an Undertaking, and Fail to Attend Court x4.  She was lodged at Brandon Police Service to appear in court today.

On November 30, 2023, police located a 39-year-old female who was wanted on outstanding charges. Following her arrest, he was released to appear in court.

On December 1, 2023, police located and arrested a 21-year-old male who was wanted on an outstanding charge of Robbery. He was lodged at Brandon Police Service to appear in court today.
