The City of Brandon is dedicated to providing the highest level of service to the citizens of Brandon.
On July 22, 2022 The City of Brandon submitted an application to the Public Utilities Board (PUB) for an increase in the City’s 2023, 2024, 2025, & 2026 water and sewer utility rates.
On October 20, 2023 the PUB issued Board Order No 119/23 which set water & sewer rates for each of 2023, 2024, 2025, & 2026. A copy of the PUB Board Order can be found here:

On November 6, 2023, City Council approved By-law 7342, which set water and sewer rates as approved by the PUB. A copy of the By-law can be found here:

The City of Brandon has submitted applications to the PUB for surcharges to recover chemical building debenture payments to fund a water treatment plant upgrade.
On October 4, 2021 the PUB issued Board Order No. 108/21 approved a surcharge of $0.083 per cubic meter, effective October 1, 2021.
