Break and Enter / Mischief Under $5000
On June 4th at 11:42AM Police received a report of a male on a roof attempting to break a window in the 000 block of 9th Street. Police attended and were able to reach the owner of the building who confirmed no one should be on the premises. The owner authorized members to make entry of the suite which resulted in an arrest of a 33-year-old male. He was transported to BPS for processing and later released via Undertaking with a court date of July 31st, 2025.
Arrest Warrant
On June 4th at 12:30PM Police were patrolling behind the 000 block of 9th Street when they came across a male known to have an Unendorsed Warrant for Arrest (Failure to Attend Court / Theft Under $5000 / Failure to Comply Probation). The 31-year-old male was arrested and held in BPS detention cells for court in the morning on June 5th, 2025.
Flight / Dangerous Driving
On June 4th at 2:55PM Police made attempts to stop a suspicious vehicle on Middleton Avenue. The vehicle proceeded to a nearby gas station where two females were dropped off then it continued south on #10 and turned east on #1 driving erratically. The vehicle was BOLO’d to RCMP. The vehicle was stopped by RCMP and the 17-year-old male driver was taken into custody and transported to BPS. Statements were taken from the two 18-year-old females and the driver’s identity was confirmed. The male was held in detention cells at BPS to be released to his parents on an Appearance Notice with a court date of August 19th, 2025.
Assault
On June 4th at 4:30PM Police were made aware of a domestic dispute. Police attended the residence in the 1500 block of Louise Avenue and located the accused (20-year-old female) and the victim (19-year-old male). The male had visible scratches. The female was arrested, taken to BPS, and later released on an Undertaking with a court date of August 11th, 2025.
Arrest Warrant
On June 5th at 12:17AM a 45-year-old female was located at her residence on Stickney Avenue and was arrested on the outstanding Endorsed Warrant for Arrest (Failure to Attend Prints). She was released at the scene on an Appearance Notice with a date given for prints as well as a court date of July 3rd, 2025.
Failure to Comply Probation Order
On June 5th at 2:14AM Police conducted a traffic stop in the 500 block of McDiarmid Drive. A 31-year-old male within the vehicle had a Probation Order not to be in contact with or be within 100 feet of one of the vehicle’s female occupants. The male was arrested and transported to BPS. He was held in BPS detention cells to have Ident completed in the morning. Upon completing Ident he would be released via Appearance Notice with a court date of August 14th, 2025.
