Stolen Vehicle – Recovered

On April 27, 2023, at approximately 11:30 am, police received a report of a stolen maroon 2020 Chevy Malibu from the 1200 block of Lorne Ave E.  Suspects took the car sometime overnight.  The vehicle was located unoccupied in the 300 block of 6th street shortly before 1:00 pm.

Breach of Peace

On April 27, 2023 at 7:30 pm, police responded to a report of a fight in the 800 block of Pacific Ave.  When police arrived the fight had dispersed, but one of the individuals involved, an intoxicated 35-year-old female, was still in the area.  She was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober to prevent her actions from escalating further.

 

IPDA

On April 27, 2023 at approximately 8:00 pm, police responded to a report of an intoxicated female at a business in the 1500 block of 18th street.  She was initially passed out, but became uncooperative when she woke.  The 23-year-old was in no condition to care for herself, and had nowhere to go, so she was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

 

Fail to Comply with Release Order

On April 22, 2023, police responded to a report of a 17-year-old who had not returned home in spite of the fact that she was bound by a daily curfew.  The youth did not return home for several days.  She was located and arrested on April 27, 2023.  She was lodged t Brandon Police Service to appear in court today.

 

Arrest Warrants

On April 28, 2023 shortly after 2:00 am, police came across a female pedestrian who initially gave them the wrong name.  Once her identity was revealed, police learned that she was the subject of an outstanding arrest warrant for Fail to Comply with Remand.  She was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service.  She will appear in court today with a new charge of Public Mischief.

On April 27, 2023, at 11:00 am, police responded to a request to conduct a wellbeing check on an individual at their residence.  While at the residence, another individual who was wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant was also located there.  The 21-year-old male was arrested and later released to appear in court on June 23, 2023 on a charge of Fail to Comply with Probation.

 

On April 27, 2023, police located and arrested a 41-year-old female who was wanted on outstanding charges of Fail to Attend Court.  She was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today.

On April 28, 2023, police located and arrested a 26-year-old female who was wanted on outstanding charges of Fail to Comply with Probation.  She was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today.

On April 28, 2023, police located and arrested a 39-year-old male who was wanted on outstanding charges of Fai to Attend Court.  He was  lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today.
