WHY ARE YOU RUNNING FOR SCHOOL TRUSTEE?
I have recently become paralyzed in an automobile accident while on my way to work. This was four years ago and since that day I have been working tirelessly on myself both physically and emotionally. I am now at place where I have developed a set of additional skills and experiences to be able to give back to our community a unique way. Prior to my accident I was active in coaching roles with Brandon Youth Baseball, Brandon Minor Football, and Brandon Barbarian Youth Rugby and I am currently active within the Brandon Wheelchair Association. Although my situation has changed, my beliefs in giving back have not. I have been left a unique situation that while unfortunate, has provided me a terrific chance to have firsthand experiences that I can now utilize to advocate for those people who have mobility and learning constraints within our school system and broader community.
