WHY ARE YOU RUNNING FOR SCHOOL TRUSTEE?
I believe that our education system is the key for developing well rounded, confident, and innovative adults for the future. I come to you with a background in Early Childhood Education and Program Management, and currently serve as the Community Engagement Manager for Habitat for Humanity Manitoba, Brandon Chapter.
I am passionate about child and adolescent development, education, our community and working with families. I am dedicated to serving our community, the students along with their families, and the staff of the Brandon School Division should I be an elected official.
As an elected trustee my focus will be:
- student and staff mental health
- front line staff retention and addressing burn out
- active engagement within each individual school
- financial accountability through accountability and transparency
- ensuring we serve the best educational interest of all students by providing the necessary support and resources.
